Ashton's path to becoming an ultra athlete began with humble triathlons, propelling her toward her ultimate goal: mastering ultra marathons, including the daunting 236k Coastal Challenge in Costa Rica. She found strength in confronting various challenges through each race, revealing her unbreakable spirit.

Her motivation has shifted over time. What initially began as a quest to overcome past pain has transformed into a pursuit of freedom and exploration. Ashton's passion for pushing her body's boundaries and connecting with a community of like-minded enthusiasts has become her driving force.

From a childhood with limited physical activity, Ashton has blossomed into an endurance sports enthusiast. She balances her intense training with centering yoga practices and humbling surf sessions. Her journey exemplifies how movement and determination can lead to profound transformation.
